Response to Champion Comments Suggestions that the terms of the Champion deal are not fair to Fancamp or that the New Board is buying off Champion do not reflect reality. Fancamp’s press release dated May 17, 2012 states that the Board of Fancamp has unanimously determined that the transaction is fair and in the best interests of Fancamp Mr. Granger, in his circular, supports the Champion/Fancamp relationship and for that reason agrees that two Champion nominees should be appointed to the Fancamp Board, as required by the Fancamp/Champion agreement. It appears that the current Fancamp board is not honouring the Champion agreement as only one Champion nominee is on their slate, even though there are supposed to be two Champion nominees on the Fancamp board.
