Hello Sudbury:
I believe some of the problem you have with this proxy fight is the fact that you believe it mirrors what happened to Noront. But that is not the case at all. It's like comparing apples to oranges.
Everyone (pretty much everyone) hated what Irwin did to Nemis, myself included even though i wansn't invested in Noront. But the thing is, these are two different companies with two very different leaders. Smith is in no way even close to Nemis as a CEO. ISn't it funny Nemis is actually a lawyer which you seem to have a huge problem with! My point though is that Nemis actually gave a damn about shareholders, big time. Not like Smith at all. That is so evident, the majority of the people here on this board will tell you that. This is not some coup, these are average people who have been affected big time by Smith. So start taking some of your own medice and accept the facts for what they are. Otherwise, you don't bing any balance to your argument at all, it's stripped of all credibility when you dismiss everyone here as some organized coup. We have been broght together unfortunately under not the best of cirmcustances and no one wanted to be here. I think everyone gave Smith a chance, but evidently saw he is not fit for the role - it's that simple. And it's simple he is very stubborn and refused to act in the best interest of shareholders, to whom the company belongs to, not Smith.
Respectfully,
Eudai
