Balance- I disagree with your comments. The fact of the matter is that this was a material event whether Granger or the current Board won. Otherwise it would be like saying only if Romney wins will it be material, because if Obama wins it is status quo-the fact of the matter is it is an election and the final result itself is material. Once you realize that a material event is occuring, no one should be allowed to trade on this matial event without everyone knowing the results. If a person lives in Vancouver and could not attend the AGM then why should he be at a disadvantage re. trading the stock? That is why if one cannot immediately put out a press release, then you halt the stock, pending the result....that is proper governance.
