Hello Fishercat.
In the article you’ve cited, there’s one important thing that strikes me as central: That is, the company behind the company. BHP Billiton Ltd. is one of the companies financially supporting the latest Titanium metallurgical investigations and discoveries of Metalysis Ltd. What you’ve brought up deserves more than the dose of momentary excitement typically given to the scientific news reporting coming out of academia (that—as is often the case—winds up going nowhere in the real world).
It stands to reason, in this case, the chances are fairly good something, very well, may come of this. According to Metalysis’s website, BHP Billiton Ltd. (US$168.42 billion market cap) is a “major investor.” So, behind this, there’s some loose change in the piggy bank. I will note, in passing, Fancamp’s market cap is somewhat less.
BHP Billiton has not lately been in the position of needing to raise money by selling its shares for five cents each (netting a few thousand dollars here and there). I also note in passing (even though I’m not a BHP investor), I would bet serious money that the higher-ups at BHP Billiton do not insult shareholders by ignoring their respectful and legitimate and substantive correspondence. Compare the lack of communications skills and the anti-investor way of thinking of our cast of characters to the norms everywhere else in the world.
But I digress....
