Hello Eudaimonia.

You’ve closed your message by saying, Peter has “put his ego ahead of everyone’s best interest for this public company.” So far as I’ve ever seen, Peter’s conduct, every day of the week, reinforces your viewpoint.

From what I understand, it is not a foregone conclusion that it was Peter who was in the wrong so far Jean’s departure (nor have I arrived at the opposite conclusion). Certainly (regardless of whose side you were on), there was only one opinion expressed on this Message Hub concerning how the news was given to us loyal shareholders. I believe so far as that news or any other news concerning the direction of the company, it comes to us as though the shareholders are considered to be nothing more than some kind of poor relative of the family. We are some kind of lowlifes who are entitled to receive investment news and relevant information concerning our company only to the absolute minimum extent allowable by law.

Whatever the news, whatever the developments taking place, Peter never fails to find a way to infuriate the Shareholders. It’s his dismissive attitude. Because he does it all the time, I don’t think I’m stepping out of line to reveal that whenever Peter talks about Fancamp—even in private conversations with Shareholders—he generally refers to our company as “my company.” I can understand his sentiments on an emotional level. After all, he built the company up from out of next to nothing. But, in light of all these recent years of Shareholder neglect, it’s finally high time for the Shareholders to vote in a leader who recognizes that the company belongs to us and only us (and not to our historical founder).

I don’t think I’m revealing any dark secret when I inform you that Peter quietly lined the Board of Directors up against Jean. So far as that strategy to achieve his end, I don’t fault the strategy. So far as Peter not putting the dirty laundry up on the clothesline for the world to see, I don’t fault him for that either. But so far as all the times he refused to consult or even communicate with the Shareholders (especially Shareholders for Accountability at Fancamp), I do fault him—and I do fault him emphatically—without the slightest hesitation.

But Eudaimonia, take heart, snap out of your pessimism. You began your message with the conditional phrase, “With Peter at the helm.” Keep in mind, just as Peter had the power to line up the Board of Directors against Jean, I remind you that the Shareholders have the power to remove Peter. Do you think Peter’s conduct has gone unnoticed by the major Shareholders and by the Institutional Shareholders? You can answer that question without me spelling it out for you. Just as Peter schemed against Jean (or Jean schemed against Peter, according to the other side of the story), we Shareholders are free to line up our own votes without making a public announcement about it (because publicity, at this point, will not serve to achieve our objectives).
