Magpie....quick math
First, they tried to do a $10 million financing...partly flow-through at .70 and partly common at .50.... keep in mind, this was in 2011
It looks like the only got the following first trench...
"A total of $3,234,499.60 was raised
through the sale of 4,406,428 common shares (the "Flow-Through Shares")
at a price of $0.70 per Flow-Through Share, issued as a "flow-through
share" as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and
300,000 common shares (the "Common Shares") at a price of $0.50 per
Common Share."
That same news release pvovides us with this as well....
"Fancamp Exploration Ltd. holds 54,921,962 common shares (46.7%) of the
117,610,352 issued and outstanding shares of The Magpie Mines Inc."
So....it appears they attibuted a value....based on the common shares of about
$58 million in total...of which Fancamp holds 46.7%....let's say $25 million.
Again; keep in mind....that was in 2011....and furthermore, it doesn't appear they
were able to fully subscribe.....so perhaps a conservative estimate.....maybe $20
million for Fancamp's portion? Of course we'd have to look at what the price of
iron ore was then and now as well....bring that down to about $13 million....so...
Maybe $.10 per share value to Fancamp?
Still....that's some good upside from where we are now.
