Resource projects cover more than 1,713 km2 in three provinces at various stages, including the following: hematite magnetite iron formations, titaniferous magnetite & hematite, nickel/copper/PGM, chromite, Volcanogenic Massive and gold.
Hello BlueBird.
Thanks for the information and for the clarification and for putting up with my attempts at the humor of hyperbole. In any event, in your way, indeed, you’ve given us big news.
When you talk, “LARGE NETWORK” and “MAILING AND CONTACT LISTS,” you’re talking my language. It’s even my name, TeleProbe, which is also the name of the contact management software I developed. Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I’m not selling or promoting “TeleProbe,” nor is it an appropriate package for Fancamp, nor do I recommend it for our use.
The two (and only) reasons I mention it are (1) to emphasize how important I consider the subject personally (for heaven’s sake, it’s my name); and (2) trust me, I have an understanding of the subject that you can only get from directly confronting it—on a daily basis—for the better part of twenty years.
It’s my well-held and well-informed and well-experienced and directly-experienced belief that, at this point of Fancamp’s development, above all else, we absolutely must, substantially, build up our circle of friends in the mineral resource and financial communities. Reaching the 100,000 that management has in mind will not hurt. Even better is the fact that management, at long last, is seriously considering what needs to be done and realizes that it takes time (“the next 12 months at the enterprise and institutional level,” as you’ve written).
Again, I emphasize, the main thing is that (for whatever reason), management finally gets the picture and finally is on the right track. So far as 100,000 contacts, however, it is not a realistic number, unless it is only the first gross preliminary starting point.
The final goal should be a number filtered down to a manageable 200 or so. But those 200 should be authentic and solid and continuing relationships with influential institutions who grow to know everything worth knowing about us. Even though the benefit will be huge, the ultimate number of 200 or so relationships is not a number that is insurmountably difficult to handle. For such a relatively modest task, far beyond the brand of software used, far more important is having the right frame-of-mind and having the determination to work hard and seriously at the task everyday.
We should care enough about achieving success, to do the work ourselves, in a very serious way, with great desire and determination. That’s more appropriate than transferring the management of it to a PR Firm. However, second best, should be good enough; that is, being very alert and keeping very tight reigns over the PR Firm.
