You are correct regarding Smith's brain cells aren't completely gone. He's had success in the past and I am confident he has an idea when it comes to exploring. In saying that, he has had two staking duds recently and hope he gets out of this "2 game losing streak". One of these duds was "Northwest Gold, New Brunswick Results from the Northwest Gold exploration efforts in 2015 did not justify continuance of the option.See Note 6 “Exploration and Evaluation Assets” attached to the financial statements for the nine month periods ended January 31, 2016 and 2015." I can't recall the other property but I think it was last year.
