For years I wanted to believe in FNC but as time wore on, an investor friend and I came to the conclusion that it probably wasn't going to happen...in fact we had a saying "you can't go wrong betting against Smith."  We both wanted it not to be true, but his siren song eventually grows wearisome and just look at where he is today after thirty years in the business.  FNC needs new leadership, and none is forthcoming.  I moved most of my holdings to HPQ in January and am the better for it.  I still have some FNC, just in case, but I think the future lies elsewhere.
