“4 months and not one significant news release.  What are they doing??”

What you say ask, perhaps, is more profoundly taxing than you may think. 

Behind your words is your unrealistic expectation that someone,
way up on high, will lift a finger to help.

After all our travails, you should know better.

Lifting a finger to help is not as automatic as you may think.
Keep in mind, the lifting of a finger is an idiomatic expression of biblical origin. 

“For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s
shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.”
(King James Bible, Matthew xxiii, 4). 

You are very silly to expect the lifting of a finger in our favor, in opposition to
all the Planet Earth’s forces of gravity preventing that finger from being raised.
