Hello Tony.

I suspect the Karma (as you put it) is not here nor there.
So far as your vision of it “knocking on Smith’s and the rest of the BODs’ doors,” I’m pessimistic. 

The funny thing is that “knocking on doors” is the golden rule behind making sales.

Everybody (with half a grain of common sense) understands the elementary arithmetic of “knocking on doors.” The more doors knocked, the more sales made. The greater the insistent intensity of your door knocking, the greater successes your sales strategy will achieve.

In years past, I myself used that time-tested strategy on Smith himself. First I was friendly. Next I was polite. At the end, I was less than polite.

Not only does he not employ the “knocking on doors” strategy to benefit shareholders, his response was zero (literally) when someone (such as me) employed that very same basic sales strategy to explain to him how to sell the virtues of Fancamp’s assets to the greater investment community. 

Not only that, Smith has a boundless talent for turning friends into enemies (because he cannot tell the difference between them). Six years ago (during the Summer of 2012), too many times to count, I tried to help Smith defuse the Shareholder Revolt. Too many times to count, I explained to him that a simple Sales Program initiated by him would satisfy everybody. 

Bob Granger (Smith’s chosen Chairman) warned me that I was wasting my time. Nonetheless, he gave me two months to turn Smith around. It was only after my complete failure to get anywhere that Granger commenced his takeover attempt (with my blessing). 

It was only after arriving at my turning point that I posted the following message.
