My question is how and who are they selling CIA shares? Do you remember Peter sold the first 3M or so shares to a couple of people from Austrailia - and it seemed they were connected to O'Keefe- for around a dollar...well below market value. I don;t like those kind of transactions at all because it reeks of shadiness. They better be selling these shares on the open market but i don't see any reporting. When Champion is going to be such a cash cow, i have no idea why they insist on dumping these shares. I would like to know dates, and prices, and to whom. Hopefully I'm just paranoid, but I never trusted Peter's decision making and strategy. Reminds me of Munk who ran Barrick and said that if he just put his feet on the desk and didn't do a think for 20 years, the share price would have performed better than all their M&As's, etc.
Again, imagine if we just sat on the 10M shares and sold off other properites and protected our golden goose where we would be today - 50-60M on the books. It was a no brainer and a horrible strategy to sell these shares. I don't know how others are not livid who saw Peter piss these shares away and destory so much potential of this company. he just cared about being paid and only had a one track mind on how to run Fancamp and only cared about survival - not growth and taking this comapny to the next level. People are too sympathetic to him in my view but I've seen cleary through him for a long time now.
I wasn't able to listen to the call today, but i hope they will make it available. I've taken some off the table recently as well because i have no idea where they will be when they finish selling all their shares...but i hope the new team succeeds.
Lastly, my dream was O'keefe would take the helm - wouldn't that have been something! That's a frickin real CEO and leader.
Best,
Eudai
