Message: Hub Leaders' admin abilities

Thank you for your inquiry. You can still delete posts and ban members provided that their membership rank is either mail room or treasurer. The option to delete posts posted by Vice President and President members has been removed.

The system has been set up this way to avoid banning/deleting wars between Presidents.

Typically, we've found that when someone has attained the rank of VP or higher, they act in a manner consistent with our community standards. There are obviously exceptions in every case.

If you are having issues with any members in particular, please notify an admin and one would gladly handle the situation as per your instructions.

Regarding your recommendations as possible solutions, we are presently exploring opportunities that will allow Hub Leaders to notify AGORACOM with regards to a message posted by either a VP or President Member that will automatically alert an admin with regards to a message reported as a violation.
