New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Storm.... where to start? I'll try and be as brief as possible without skimping to much or missing anything which I likely will.
1. Bellechasse (Timmins) – Immediate deliverables
The Bellechasse (Timmins) deposit is currently await results from it's bulk sample which is necessary to determine the true average grade of the deposit. Diamond core drilling in the past was yielding 2g/t and the last bulk sample in 2007-08 yielded 3.82g/t. The expectation by GNH is that the results of the 2009 bulk sample will yield similar grades: 3.5g/t-4g/t
On how the bulk sample is done: http://agoracom.com/ir/GoldenHope/forums/discussion/topics/375924-operational-update/messages/1252203#message
Hoov's explanation for the masses:
The data from the bulk sample should be sufficient for GNH to start writing a resource report on 1-2MM ounces down to 300meters. 300 meters is the deepest they have drilled and know that the mineralization is continuous to that depth. If we consider that these types of mineralization are continuous, we could be looking at a deposit down to 1000 meters with a 3-4MMoz potential. Deeper holes are planned for this year... but let's just stick with 1-2MMoz for the sake of this post.
Please read the May 2009 Progress Report to wrap your head around the deposit and it's potential: http://www.goldenhopemines.com/userfiles/TIMMINS%20DEPOSIT%20Progress%20report%20May%202009.pdf
GNH has also done a Geo Chem around the known mineralized zone to know if the deposit has indications of extending: http://www.goldenhopemines.com/uploadfiles/Press%20Release%20Geo%20Chem%20Nov.10.pdf Those results are being awaited as well.
Bellechasse (Timmins) conclusion:
Results being awaited for bulk sample with the goal of writing a 1-2MMoz resource potential;
Results being awaited for Geo Chem on the possibility of extending the know mineralized zone at surface.
2. Laval's Mountain
GNH has staked 30-40km of claims which could be possible Bellechasse (Timmins) type mineralization. Laval's Mountain is 8km away and has the same signature. It is ready to be worked. The question here is: Does the Bellechasse (Timmins) type deposit repeat along the mineral belt or is it continuous? That is what they need to figure out. That being said there is potential for multiple multi-million ounce deposits.
3. FSG Target
The FSG Target is a more classic VMS type target. It scored a very high grade on the Geo Chem which is worth a quick read http://www.goldenhopemines.com/FG_Gold_Base_Metal_Anomalies.php . There were multiple Gold and Base Metals targets that were shown. This target is ready to be worked on.
4. Regional Play
Since FNC has raised a good amount of cash for their Beauce project and OSK/BOW has entered the region, this has become a regional play. There are also at least 5-10 other smaller companies out there prospecting and exploring.
GNH is the most advanced in the region. GNH has the most experience in the region. GNH knows the region back to front and has a 3-4 year lead on everyone and has all the choice claims.
The “gold rush” in the region has commenced but isn't well known or heated yet. GNH will be the major beneficiary of said rush.
5. Conclusion
Forget about absolutely everything I just wrote except the immediate deliverable of a resource estimate on 1-2MMoz... okay?
In situ value can conservatively be placed at $100/oz in the ground. Let's say they come up with the conservative 1MMoz. That should translate into a $100MM market cap. The market cap is roughly $15MM at todays 52 week high of $0.17.
Is there good upside? You do the math.
Now consider:
Convinced?
REMINDER: ALWAYS DO YOUR OWN DD
P.S. I'm to tired of typing to review this post, so excuse any grammatical or syntax errors.
