Ok so I called Sasha @ GNH (yes on a Saturday evening) to get some insight on the matter and this is what he said on the matter:

RDP is a claim group that is owned by 2 prospectors called Venditelli and Gartner. GNH did some work on the claims in 2009 but the data found could not validate the cost of maintaining the claims at the time (upkeep + work commitment, etc.). Cash was tight and more immediate work had to be done such as the Timmins Bulk sample and more prospective targets so the RDP claims got dropped. I was told that just like everything in the region these days, as soon as the claims got dropped by one party, they were picked up by another - FNC in the case. He also said that pretty much everything in the region has been staked and there is a mad rush of wheeling and dealing going on.

So.... the optioning of RDP to FNC was never by GNH, it was by Venditelli and Gartner and really had nothing to do with GNH other than GNH had the claims prior to FNC. That is why there was never an NR issued by GNH optioning claims to FNC..... they were not GNH's to option out.
