Good points! I forgot about Malarctic, focussing more on the fact that the Beauce play is in southern Quebec, so long a settled area. I've been reading about the Battle of the Plains of Abrham again. Yeah, if they can move a city I suppose most rural land should prove manageable if the gold is proven up.
