New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
You just can't get this kind of stuff on the 'net.
I wanted to see how these guys spend their money. At this stage of the game, cash conservation is nothing short of critical. It is so easy to spend money when you have it just sitting there in your bank account. Need a new shovel? Go buy it. Need a laptop and printer? Go buy it. Need a new truck? Yep, go lease it.
I spent a good deal of time with Frank and Sasha from Wed-Fri, both in Montreal and Ste Justine. I saw absolutely no evidence of frivolous spending in any regard, and in fact, it quite evident that there is great discipline in their spending. As an investor, I saw what I wanted to see.
Some examples? Well, the office is dead simple and the apartment upstairs has everything you need to be comfortable. Looks like old or used furniture, an and old tv, old plates etc. The fixtures in the office look like they have been there forever, and not a dime was spent on any upgrades other than perhaps bottles of windex, as the place was so clean. Frank donated a computer of his own for them to use in addition to the other main computer. The truck they use is in good shape, and looks to be a few years old but well-maintained.
I mean, if these guys didn't look like they came out of a fashion magazine every time I saw them I'd say they are like a couple of ol bettys getting by on coupons and pension cheques! Yuk yuk. Ok, it's not that bad but it would real easy to justify spending a lot more money on things that are not necessary at this point....and to me...it's the little things I noticed that tell the bigger story - and it all checks out fine with me.
I didn't visit their office but I am told it is modest as well.
Word is the latest round of financing is well....lets just say its been wrapped up in short order. I think we will see downward pressure removed from people selling into the PP by the end of this week. I haven't speculated much on SP, but I'm throwing out 32 cents by end of next week. Reason being that I think there is a solid bunch of educated owners here that are going to want to see this thing through, and I don't see much selling leading up to the drill results.
