Today marks the dawn of a new age for Goldenhope Mines, in my humble opinion.
Why? Here's why.
If we blow out the PP we will be able to raise $4MM. I got the sense from Sasha it might be close to fully oversubscribed. We'll have to see.
If the warrants are exercised we will raise another $5.5MM
From the previous PP there are more warrants that will raise a further $1.25MM
That's a total of $10.75MM cash that could be made available for exploration expenses.
Now get this. The funds that were raised were not 'flow-through'. This is too bad for us, but really good for the company. In Quebec, exploration expenses are reimbursed by the tune of 25%. Any questions as to why Quebec is consisently voted as the #1 mining district in the world??
So throw another $2.5MM on top for acessories to get the job done right, complete with IR, PR, and hiring the right people and the right services when the time is right.
Well played Candido. Goldenhope is autonomous from market conditions and economic climate (today is a good example) and you can make better decisions based on a broader horizon. Tilsley must be pleased. He just a got a 2 year all-inclusive membership to his playground in the Beauce. I reckon that may be all that he needs to unveil what is buried beneath these carefully picked claims.
I believe that Candido appears to be a quality decision maker. I'm still astonished that he has been able to do what he has for this company. If you don't know the whole story of how this came to be, you should. How someone can ressurect a company like this and get it to this stage of the game is remarkable.
There are mining guys, and then there are mining guys. I think they are both the same. Frank is not a mining guy. Getting Tilsley out of retirement, inviting shareholders to learn the story when investment brokers wouldn't take the time, and utilizing a new discovery tool such as the Geochemical survey - these are things that I would consider unconventional.
It appears I only have 2 questions left in regards to my investment in GNH.
1. Does the geochem work?
2. (If answer to #1 is yes) What kind of beer does the Hoov want? I think I owe him one more for pointing this company out.
