Nagging question in the back of my mind...

New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Here is a question for one of those fellas that was on site for a site visit not too long ago. First, a little background thought...
The grade estimate for drilling the Timmins Zone is approx. 2 grams/ton. They have done a "trenching" sample of certain select areas within this Timmins Zone and have very recently come back with an average grade of 2.996ish grams/ton from this "much larger" sample. This is really good news and will support Mr. Tilsley's assumption that the TRUE grade is indeed higher than that of the drilling grade that Larry is trying to educate people with... Now, here is my dilemna:
Exactly HOW did they blast that trench??? Yeah, I know, with dynamite probably... But stop for a second and lets figure this out. I saw the pictures of the trenching (which I believe you can find on Golden's website) and it looks to me that they just went ahead and blasted a trench X number of feet wide by X number of feet deep by X number of feet long... So, here is my dilemna...
This trenching that was done, were they in the quartz veining the whole way??? I believe that by looking at the trenching dimensions on the map at Golden that they trenched a continous trench "across" the zone at Timmins... Is there quartz the entire length of the trench? It does not look like it to me in the pictures. That is why I am looking for an answer regarding said trenching... If they just went and trenched and sampled the entire trench, did they not include some diorite samples along with the quartz? I heard it said on the forum somewhere that we are only going to get 10 - 30% quartz embedded in the area, and that the quartz is the only host for the gold. I just wanted to clarify that the sample that was done on the trench was "only taken from the quartz" or else the entire length of the trench, regardless of the composition of the rock...
If this sample was taken of the "whole length" of the trench and the diorite included, then am I incorrect in assuming that this 3 grams/ton is like a consistent grade over the entire area and not just in the quartz???
I may be way off base here, but I just want to be sure when I am working out my own numbers that I have the correct information...
OK, Larry or Brad or Scott or whoever was on site... did any of you get to see the trench and was it explained to you how the sampling was done? Thanks in advance...
God Bless all Golden Investors.
