New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
There's really no substitute for being there and seeing this property with your own eyes in the world of performing DD. I'm sure I've mentioned here that I also plan on going back yet again sometime in August.
Someone asked what I expect to learn from visiting the site so soon after my last trip. The answer for me is simple. I don't know what I expect to learn, which why I'm going. I've measured this baby 15 times and cut thrice. I've read every press release, met most of the people, read many other companies press releases, scoured the Quebec websites, exhausted all reading on the global economy - and I feel that we are literally sitting on a gold mine here and that's a great place to be sitting these days.
The irony is that as great as I think seeing this property is, it's essentially just random land that is not distinguishable by anything. There's a few steel pipe collars in the ground where the holes have been drilled. There will be a rail car sized drill somewhere in the woods with some French guys working away. A dirt road and some piles of stone. That's about it!
It really puts into perspective what this mining business is all about, and that I have always taken for granted the complex and unique universe that lies beneath my feet that provides us with pretty much everything we use in our lives. It looks like dirt to a laymen, but this Tilsely guy sees something else, obviously.
Probably my highlight of my last trip was the conversation I had with Sylvan the office manager after a few pints at the 'hotel' next door. You cannot fake how excited this guy was to be a part of this project, and how much these people believe in what is going on here.
There's probably gold everywhere, but it's the team that has to pull it out of the ground that often is the real story for your investment dollar. It'll be good to have some fresh faces on board to see that for themselves, and see if they feel that as well.
GNH has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time. This stagnant share price thing lately is a small part of a bigger picture - and depending on which glasses you are looking through, it looks very different if it's a time to buy or a time to sell.
Lots of challenges ahead for management, but as I've always thought - the fun is making the money not spending it and I believe they share that same philosophy.
I have no doubt that there will be lots to share here over the next few days. I've been enjoying some of our good weather lately here in Toronto etc which makes it much easier to be patient and let these guys do their job for us.
