Back from some time off, and away from computers and summer doldrums.

One I thought I could add some insight to, which is the price of gold. As it turns out one of my good friends has found himself as one of the biggest gold buyers/sellers in the world for his company. It's true...he moved the market one day this year.

Had lunch with him 2 weeks ago and got his take on the gold price. This guy talks with JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and all the others to develop a sense of where it may go. It is fascinating to hear about as you can well imagine.

His take was that it would drop to 1150 for sometime around now or early August and then rise to 1350 by the end of the year.

Let's see if he's right...and then establish if they (the biog boys) can predict this sort of thing. He's new to the job after 2-3 months of on the job training.
