New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
My assumption, based primarily on the information obtained from Sasha or other valued posters here, is that the next news release will include a combination of a conceptual model (hopefully 43-101 compliant) combined with a number of assays (15-20 holes) that will help explain their short-term target of 100 MT. Based on historical drilling data I would say that anywhere between 1.0-2.5 g/t is a reasonable expectation for assays with the possibility that estimated grades will be increased to 1.5 to 3 g/t using a multiplier that can be derived from the conceptual model.
Remember they are looking at three different classes of intrusions and each may have its own grade/gold distribution characteristics:
T1-type: Auriferous quartz filling brecciated diorite in plug-like protrusions from the intrusive.
T2-type: Auriferous quartz filling elongated breccia zones in the body of the intrusive,
or in ridge-like apotheosis on the back of the diorites.
Ascot-type: Auriferous quartz in disorganized to massive quartz veins in the volcanic
rocks that were intruded by the diorites, probably located above T2-type zones in the
intrusive.
Thus by identifying the geologic nature of each quartz drill core all future assays may be reported in the context of the conceptual model (presumably with appropriate grade multipliers). The company continues to use the term "mineralization" instead of "diorite-hosted quartz" so I am cautiously optimistic that the assays will be in the expected range.
Best,
Scott
