New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
That is insane. I'll bet you 5 bucks that if you called some local media that they would report your story, and no joke...sometimes things like this can go viral. That and if you, do that you'll find you're not alone the next time you go panning at your presently 'undisclosed' location.
Congrats to you, its nice to see that hobby of yours paying some dividends!
So that is alluvial gold, aka found in a river? Downstream from the GNH claims?
So these nuggets are probably found in the Beauce's quartz veins, and over time and weather they end up floating in streams and rivers and then you pan them, and you found this?!
It's no secret that there will be other Beauce claims that contain gold, by the way. GNH just has what they feel are the very best ones, and the ones that are worth paying for and maintaining. They have um....plenty right now and it's often a good thing to have company to share the load and validate the region at this early stage of the game.
Speaking of which, some of these other claim holders are required to spend some money on exploration or they will pay fees for nothing. I have no idea what (if anything) is coming down the pipe but I wouldn't be surprised if we heard some announcements over the next few months. Some are probably anticipating GNH results.
P4G, that find is REALLY exciting and thanks for sharing. Talk about VG...I think we are on to something in the Beauce!
