New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Hi antlizzie
What the little i means is "iceberg"
It is the actual term used by the industry to indicate a hidden order. They actually are significant because they indicate a potential support or resistance point. I also look for icebergs if I am interested in buying or selling a larger position as I can "feed" into the bid or ask, and move a volume of stock in or out without drastically affecting the price. This is particularly true of low volume stocks. Icebergs can alos be HUGE so it's important to watch the trade station at days end to see how much was moved at that price. Icebergs are also a tool used by more sophisticated buyers or insiders who want to hide their activity.
The implication that I affected the price negatively is questionable. I am sharing information I have, that others can't get without a stockwatch subscription, to help them with decisions. People need to stop getting ahead of themselves with the sp. Pumping hurts a stock as much as bashing. If the information doesn't meet the pumped expectation you get nasty swings in sp that can break support levels and hurt a stocks value. I prefer honest and real data and dialogue. I am relaying real information.......not conjecture or hype.
By the way,.....I can also find out who Anon is in an iceberg order simply by buying the end of the iceberg and calling my broker the following day and asking for the settlement chit.
If people prefer I keep information to myself I have no problem with that.
