New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Sure they could have got more last week, and they probably could get more if they were to stick to their price etc. The big question is,
When does Golden have to go back to the public for more money, and how do they intend on doing that???
That is the end all, do all question here. IF somebody even gets a "WHIF" of Golden making even a little query in regards to shoring up thier financial situation, then you can bet your bottom dollar that someone will hold this down in order to try to secure a lower buy in price for however many shares that they can get... That's the bottom line!!! IF anyone tries to tell me different, then I just won't believe them.
The way that the market works these days is for people to make every penny, percentage, lowest possible buy in regardless of what, who, where or when. If an entity/company/brokerage smells money, they will do what it takes to get what they want. If that means sacrificing a couple of hundred thousand to make double or triple of that in a specific timeframe, than that is what they will do.
One other point here is that Golden is financed for approx. another 7 months according to the burn rate/financial situation which I was told is approx. 2.2 million in the bank. Now the last thing that you want to do is wait until you are OUT of money before you go back to the trough for more money. There is a very touchy balancing act that has to be done by any and all CEO's of all Junior Explorco's of keeping dilution down compared to keeping enough money to continue crucial work... I think Frank is VERY aware of this and would rather have enough to keep the foot on the gas as compared to having to scale back any exploring/drilling right now when things are starting to line up so nicely, at least that is the feeling I am getting from Brad's and Larry's posts...
So, if there is blood in the water, even a small droplet, the sharks can smell that from over a mile away, I am told. If Golden even hinted about raising more money, you can bet your very last dollar that someone somewhere will try to get as many shares as they can for as cheap as they can. That is just how it works.
Now, I don't know if there is more financing in the works. I DO know, however, that you don't wait until we have 1 or 2 months worth of money left before you go get some more. That puts you in a very bad, desperate situation that you and I as shareholders do not want...
All is only my opinion, of course, but one I have watched with the likes of Noront and a few other "exploration companies".
God Bless all Golden Investors.
