Trelawney Intersects 137.00 Metres of 5.33 g/t Gold at the Cote Lake Deposit
TORONTO, ONTARIO, Sep 08, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc. (the "Company") (CA:TRR 1.15, +0.16, +16.16%)(FRANKFURT: RTW) announces additional drill results from the Cote Lake Deposit on the Chester Project located halfway between Timmins and Sudbury in northern Ontario. Highlights of the drilling program include:
-- Hole E10-26 - 292.04 metres of 0.88 g/t gold
-- Hole E10-27 - 137.00 metres of 5.33 g/t gold within a larger envelope of
274.60 metres of 2.99 g/t gold
-- Hole E10-04 extension - 17.90 metres of 8.06 g/t gold
The results being reported are from the recently discovered Cote Lake Deposit. The holes are located on several sections as noted in the table below. The mineralized intersections in holes E10-26 and E10-27 are located 100 metres apart on adjacent sections. Hole E10-27 is about 130 metres below previously reported hole E10-14 (1.62 g/t gold over 65.0 metres) and about 100 metres west and 50 metres below the previously reported high grade intersection in hole E10-04 (8.20 g/t gold over 107.11 metres).
