Its funny to see and Ive seen it many times on this board and in real life. As soon as someone on the board tries to speak negatively of something that so many of us have alot invested in, right away the person is viewed as a basher. God forbid anyone talk badly about MY investment.

Just as in real life, friendships and relationships get damaged everyday due to money. It is the root of all evil and all happiness and ll goodies and all bad things. One thing I learned in life is that close relationships (like close friends) and money DONT mix well together. When you have money people seem to expect more from you, when you have LOTS of money, all your new "friends" come out of nowhere and start calling and communicating with you. How is this related to this board you ask? Because as soon as we all start to make money and our portfolios go up, people on here expect that nothing can go wrong, and if one person speaks poorly of our investment, their is tension that builds.

Just like when our SP lagged for a while and dropped from 75 cents to low 50s, there was so much arguements and angst and negativety on the board and people were calling for FC's head; but as soon as our SP went back up slowly to the low 70s, people eased back and became a bit more chilled, but then we had people speak badly of our rising SP and our company, boom, back to the attacks.

Lets remember one thing folks, no matter how much money or how little money you have in life, dont ever let it control you, dont let it get in the way of friendships and loved ones, because no amount of money is ever worth losing friends and family over. No amount of money is worth it to argue over. So when and if our SP goes through the roof and we all become rich, just remember, new friends will appear, people will expect more from you - dont ever let it get in the way of your happiness and your life.

Its just not worth it sometimes.

One more thing to add, a co-worker friend of mine who I started working with about 4 years ago was a happy fellow, happily married, and was the proud new daddy of a baby girl who is now 2.5 yrs old. Things were going well, good job, mortgage was being paid off, good income, all was well until last month he found out his daughter has leukemia - made us all take a step back and realize whats important in life, unfortunately a SP of $100000 for GNH cannot reverse the cancer in this little innocent girl. Lets remember to love each other, and truly remember whats important in life, cuz somethings money cant buy......EVER!!!
