It helps when people have in the past believed he was simply "pumping" GNH due to being on payroll, the fact that he's talking as positively about the company and having not been receiving compensation for the past month is even better.

Personally I believe it makes very little difference whether he's receiving compensation anymore or not it only helps other who are more skeptical of his "agenda" realize he likes the potential of GNH and not just because it's $5000 in his pocket a month.
