Short answer- yes. It looks like the quartz in diorite outcrops and some distinct geological footprints (I will try to discuss these with respect to regional geology in future posts) are indicating the Laval's area will be very similar to Timmins1.

The drill was still in graphitic shale when we left the site so we didn't get to see the quartz-diorite core from that hole- we almost missed our plane because we stayed so late as it was :)
