My suggestion is to pick up one of Canada's popular one million dollar gold coins!

I"ve actually seen one on display. They are very attractive and considered some of the purest gold in the world (.9999) and one of the highest quality strikings.

They are not that practical though as the face value is a million CDN dollars. It is difficult to get change if you try to buy something with one, as most stores don't have a float quite that high. They are also problematic to carry as they are 13" in diameter (size of a medium pizza) and they weigh 100kg or about 220lbs.

Up side is your the only kid on the block who has one!
