Hi Skier, Management at GNH cannot control when a shareholder increases a position.
It isn't something they would even know about! If Dwek owns more than 10% he is considered and insider (even if he isn't). He will be the one required to file with SEDI that he has made a trade and only after the fact. GNH wouldn't know unless he chose to tell them.
I'm also not sure I agree that having DWEK make disclosure is a bad thing. We will always know within days of his intentions. If he goes below 10% we are blind unless he tells our management his intentions. I like knowing. Curious why you think this is problematic? I don't see how it would hinder sp appreciation but am interested in your thoughts on this.
