Of the 28 companies, West’s comments are appropriately negative for 26 of them, in so far as they match his recommendation to sell. In two cases, his change of heart is contrary to his own words.
His #2 Golden Hope Mines: “Their geological theory is proving up slowly.” Think about it. GNH’s “geological theory” is a monumental game-changer. Because, according to West, the “geological theory is proving up slowly,” the unavoidable slow consequence will be an explosive upward revision in GNH’s proven ounces (which, in turn, will multiply its market capitalization many times over). I guess his sell recommendation means he can’t wait.
His #24 Confederation Minerals: “Fantastic intercepts, but no support.” This comment makes no sense to me in light of the fact that his recommendation is to sell. Since when is it a sell signal for a company’s stock to have become much more attractively priced, while it’s geologists are successfully uncovering “fantastic intercepts”? I don’t get it.
