Being that the new drilling strategy has been largely determined by SGS Canada, I looked SGS up. Being that I’m a USA investor, I don’t know how well SGS is known in Canada. I never heard of them. I’ve figured, if the new drilling depends on an SGS study, I should make it my business to look into SGS’s resources and qualifications.
The company was established in 1878. It employs 64,000 people. It has divisions (and websites) covering 74 countries. Its revenues for the first half of 2011 were 2,345,000,000 CHF (Swiss Francs) = 2,727,704,000 CAD or 2,871,218,000 USD.
