New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Just received this update:
TSX VENTURE: GNH Golden Hope Mines (GNH-V) September 15, 2011 Thank you for taking interest in Golden Hope Mines (GNH-V). Golden Hope Mines is exploring for Gold in the Bellechasse Belt which is located approximately 100km southeast of Quebec City. The area known as Bellechasse/Beauce was the site of the first Canadian gold rush. In the last 18 months there has been a major staking rush in the region by dozens of exploration companies, including Fancamp Exploration (FNC-V) and Bowmore Exploration (BOW-V), which is controlled by Osisko (OSK-T), a multi billion dollar mining company in Quebec. Golden Hope is the most advanced exploration company in the region. The Company's main focus is working towards a 43-101 compliant resource estimate on the Bellechasse-Timmins deposit. The expectations are for a resource estimate beginning at surface and extending to initial depths of 300 meters. The July 14, 2011 news release indicated that the deposit can and will likely grow along strike and to depth and warrants further drilling. The first results of the summer drill program were announced September 12 with hole BD2011-157 coming in at 380 meters grading 0.62g/t of which 49 meters graded 2.53g/t at depths below 330 meters. There are currently 6 holes from the current drill campaign for which results are pending. The Bellechasse-Timmins deposit occupies roughly 1% of a potential 17km belt, which is virtually un-explored and holds a great amount of promise for GNH. Market cap: ~$23MM The March 22, 2011 news release summarizing the company's assets: Details pertaining to the project: http://www.goldenhopemines.com/exploration/bellechase_timmins_gold/ Google Earth Map: Please do not hesitate to contact me for further detail, to set up a call with management or to schedule a meeting.
