JP talks about overvoting (a clear symptom of underlying naked shorting) that is taking place in nearly all traded stocks between 10:00 and 11:00 into this segment.
The transfer agent(s) for ECU must provide a summary of votes cast at each AGM so this list might provide clues as to the degree of shorting that is present. Only problem is this method might work best for larger cap stocks because most ECU shareholders are small retail investors that probably don't cast votes. Might be worth a peek nevertheless and I would gather this info is readily available to any shareholder on request.
