Coach, ESL, GWR and all long term ECU supporters......

I have ranted and raved for quite some time here about naked short selling. The final straw for me was the Bears Sterns criminal bail out article I posted earlier today as per Rob Kirby. What that says very loud and clear to us all that "they" will do bloody well whatever they wish and they are too powerful to be challenged...even by Congress. So, since we are told ad nauseum that 2 + 2 now equals 7, we had better believe it. Opposition to such falsehoods will not be tolerated. Naked shorting the whole dam JPM sector is mere child's play for them. Whatever they are now involved in, which seems like nearly all the markets, they are hell bent on going for broke....do whatever it takes...whatever it takes right up front with a large finger in our faces.

So, the end game for "them" is capitulation by us, the little guys, and the PM Juniors we are invested in. It has been obvious for quite sometime now that the management of most PM producers, developers and explorers have had to look the other way while their capitalization has been reduced by 50% to75%. Many are facing serious profitability and financing problems now for a plethora of reasons. Still, they say nothing. Their hands are tied.

I have always believed in what Jim Sinclair espouses, tirelessly and unselfishly, for the benefit of all who will take the time to just read his wealth of information. Jim is convinced that the hedge funds doing all the damage to the JPMs sooner or later, will succumb to the derivatives rope around their necks and be forced to default or cover. Tonight I am not so sure...not that I would ever pretend to come close to knowing a fraction of what Mr. Sinclair does but I am beginning to think that even he does not know how ruthless/desperate the rats running the ship are. I pray I am wrong.

For over ten years we have witness brave and honest souls such as Bill Murphy, John Embry, Chris Powell of GATA and many others including those I mentioned above, shout "foul" from the rooftops, only to see them ignored, ridiculed or patronized by "the establishment". As long time posters on the ECU BBs and others, many of us have fought on our level the basher boys all the way for years now...but they still relentlessly keep playing their game...after all they are paid wages to do so. Some of you will by now have noticed that their tactics have changed to meet the new challenges they face as a small new breed of highly intelligent, well paid, much more professional "bashers" is surfacing. One has actually posted 20 times here today. These wolves in sheep's clothing are very clever indeed but we begin to suspect who they are. Meanwhile, our supposed "wages" come from the belief that we have made a reasonable investment in a well researched exploration project managed by a most capable and credible management team....the stewards of our money, so to speak. It is called trust. Where we have all gone terribly wrong I fear is that we thought that sooner or later the truth would surface and normal market trading would reassert itself. I hasn't. In fact it is just to the contrary.

Lest I appear to have thrown in the towel, I have not. I will not be selling my shares of ECU. I am clinging to the theory of others, that because the US is no longer the engine of global growth the gang of criminals in power will not be pulling the strings, or pulling the wool over the bright stern faces of those who represent over 3 billion people in rising economies. We all know who they are and that they have trillions in sovereign wealth funds....and that many of them are not amused by the fact that they have suffered much at the hands of the US over the years. The latest little trick played on them, an investment game called "ABCP", has not been well received and I suspect there will be an "adjustment" levied at their time and choosing. Oh yes, they happen to "own" untold amounts of US debt, growing by about $2.5 billion per day. One other little ditty......it would appear they have quietly purchased somewhere over 20,000 tons of gold from western central ans over the last 11 years. This is the gold that no one can ever seem to get an audit of that the west says they still have in their vaults. It goes on and on...but the lynch pin, I believe, will be the day that the American people get truly, visibly, demonstrably, vein-popping angry at the those who governed them into a major depression by way of lies and unbounded greed.

So, how long will we wait?
