Carney was "suggested" as the candidate of choice over the incumbent Canadian runner up.....by the Pres. of the BOD of the Bank of Canada. I checked out the members of the BOD of the Bank ofCanada and I suspect they, being none bankers from across the land, would assume that the good ole prez had a good handle on it all and took his "suggestion" to heart. I suspect they have no idea of what the hell was reallly going on. All the "influencers" from the right places had to do was make the process an interesting one for the prez....and it's a done deal. It never ends folks.
