Edgy, Pelosi could have kept her big mouth shut until the vote was over and the measure passed. And then she could have blabbed away from then until the election and beyond if she felt like it.

It was a very stupid move on her part, but I guess she just couldn't resist. And, of course, it was just as stupid for the Repubs to not be able to resist making her a scapegoat by appearing to change their minds.

This one is on politicians of all ilk, as is at least a good part of the blame for this holy mess!
