GMP is Griffith's McBurney and Partners founded by Brad Griffiths and Gene McBurney long ago with Brad long gone for years. They have never been a big player in ECU but every once in a while they showup but I hadn't noticed them in a very long time (used to buy) until this latest little selling binge which now looks like a combination of margin call, tax loss sellling and account squaring for year end all in one. I notice they seem to have disappeared now, after selling 475,000 shares, indicating it may be done with the bottom for the stock probably having been fixed. This means it may be an ideal time to buy since few people will be around next week and a distress seller is done. I think I will buy some stock now.

Anonymous is simply a trading symbol that any firm can use to hide their name if they don't want to be known for whatever reason. Buyers employ it to hide their accumulation and sellers use it similarly. Of course there is no such thing as anonymity and it doesn't protect anyones identity should the securities people want to know for whatever reason.
