Hi Mike
Thanks for such a great and detailed response. You've just confirmed that I could use several more years of lurking and learning, and that this site is definitely a valuable resource to do that.
I didn't mean to imply that I was having problems receiving information directly from management. I've never tried. It just struck me after reading a number of posts all seeming to question management's judgement, that a post by management responding to those and perhaps ( if they feel it's in the company's best interests to do so ) providing insight into their reasoning, might be an effective way to keep investors in the loop.
I'll have to plead ignorance again regarding the size of the existing mill. I seem to recall reading 1500 somewhere, and with the way you knowledgeable posters throw facts around, being not yet familiar with the terminology, I must have put them together in the wrong order. You live and learn, or you don't learn much, and I've certainly learned a lot from your detailed explanation of the refining process.
I'm a little disappointed in your estimation that ECU will never see a dividend ( sigh ). I consoled myself with the value of my investment going down, by buying more, thinking of a larger future dividend. I better understand now why most are so upset that the stock is so undervalued, if our probable fate is to be acquired.
BTW what is the url of your site ( unless giving that out is against hub policy ) ? If I can learn so much here, I expect that I could learn much more going direct to the source .
Thanks again
