As to cricism of management, you will find those comments on most bulletin boards. Posters have noone else to direct their frustrations at when share prices don't seem to be moving in the right direction. Action or inaction on the part of management is always fair game for second guessing. We obviously do not have much insight into what dictates moves made by management so one of the basic rules of investing always applies - look for good management! In ECU's case most of the posters here, I believe, are quite confident in management and, in particular, Mr. Roy. There are posters who go back far beyond my knowledge who have described Roy's taking over a virtual train wreck in the old days and nursing it into the position it enjoys today. He has a significant financial interest in the company and, if you take an objective view of the moves being made, he is on track to deliver some spectacular results to those who are willing to wait and watch him execute his plan. I often wonder when I read criticisms of managements' decisions - what background are the critics bringing to the table? It would be interesting to ask them to provide that information, such as - "What was the market cap of the largest organization you managed, or maybe the annual revenue?" You can't really appreciate how tough it is to run a company, particularly a public one, until you've tried it. Kind of like being an NFL quarterback in the Super Bowl..........
