Hobbers, I think we will see a complete re-structuring of North America within the next twenty five years, maybe sooner (but probably not in my lifetime unfortunately.

Both Canada and the U.S. are too vast and diversified to govern from one centre.

Example: The vast number of the population of Canada live in and around Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. These areas voted Liberal in the last election and do not have a representative in government. They also were behind the last big "Liberal Government Push" for gun control, even though these areas represent less than 1% of the land mass of the country and it is all urban territory.

Out here in the West, the gun is almost a necessity for controlling wildlife, especially on the farms, yet these so-called civilized urban centres would love to see guns banned completely.
