I don't know who Don L is, or where he gets his data; however all NYMEX (appears that this IS COMEX as well) $1,000 calls which will expire this coming week total 3,406 (340,600 ozs I think). These are Mar. 2009 options. Here is the link:

Last price for Mar. 2009 gold = $1,001.70

Apr. 2009, $1,000 calls for expiry on Mar 26 total 10,024, and here is the link:

Can anyone shed some light on this disparity, or show me what I have missed, or misinterepted?
