A little update from Arabic news sources, this certainly must be the end game for the regime:

"A coalition of Libyan Islamic leaders has issued a fatwa telling all Muslims it is their duty to rebel against the Libyan leadership. The group also demanded the release of fellow Islamic scholar Sadiq al-Ghriani, who was arrested after criticizing the government, and "all imprisoned demonstrators, including many of our young students"

In addition my wife has just shown me some video coming out of Libya... it is some of the most disturbing images you can imagine. Apparently the military was ordered to tie the hands and feet of dissenting soldiers and set them on fire while they are still alive. Dozens of bodies of these soldiers are shown on the video, just charred remains laying on the ground with hundreds of shocked protesters crying and praying around them. Gadaffi is capable of anything, and while I believe that the regime will end, 250 have been confirmed to be killed today... god help them if he used chemicals or gas in addition to his weapons. As an added thought, the United Kingdom sold this mad man over 200 million in weapons already this year. Thanks Cameron.

This is desperation by the regime... but now that the muslim people have been told that it is their duty to dismantle the regime, hopefully these kinds of reports will stop appearing. In addition, apparently fighter jets have been seen attacking people in the streets of Tripoli and Gaddafi is planning on making a public speech... trust me it will not be to resign.
