If you're already a holder it's a difficult wait. If the people trading ECU are interested in accumulating shares as cheaply as possible, before the financials are released/drill results produced, they won't be bothered about current holders wanting the s/p up -
I sat through a long S/P suppression with CDE when they were doing a deal, so there's probably an element of that in it as well, especially as it was referred to in their recent PR release.
A negative in so far as options being available, is that it dilutes the available capital that would otherwise go straight into the stock, and allows banks cheap play time.
