A few questions:
When a short transaction takes place the buyer should have that number of shares credited to his brokerage account. So if my broker completes the paper work and I am the buyer I will the borker then show a number of shares in my account that don't really exist? Is that how it works?
And, if the recent ECU share price action is evidence that it is partially or entirely being manipulated down so that the naked shorts can cover will this then mean that we will see a large decrease in the number of shorted shares the next time that number is reported?
All very confusing for me.
