Anarchy, Utopia or the survival of the fittest. With so many and such different people on this planet we need to set a minimum of rules and need something to control/enforce those rules.

What will be that something?

A dictator, king or emperor? We have seen that.

Just little groups of armed individuals shooting the hell out of each other like in the Wild West? No thanks.

A democratically elected institution is still the better of all choices, because it can be monitored, removed or corrected by consensus. The others not.
