'Dozer, birds can do that because they do not have CNBC, computers, Iphones, earphones, or the dozens of other distractions that pass for conveniences (many of which I use!!). I don't expect people to act so naturally anymore, too many outside influences.
I do marvel when I see a group of 30 or so small birds (I think they are starlings) tightly grouped and changing directions in what certainly seems absolute unison to the naked eye. It's a very interesting phenomenon!
