Cockerel, I appreciate your balanced and non-conspiratorial view. It was not my intention to defend management per se but make the point that lines were crossed and you better have some evidence to make those strongly worded suggestive questions part of the public record. This was not the intent of Sinclair in his recent commentary as he wants strong management committment working on behalf of shareholders pursuing any and all agendas to shed some light on the perps behind the curtain in the precious metals space and he wants shareholders to demand this extra committment. I certainly have no issue with this goal provided it isn't turned into an unnecessary witch hunt and burning at the stake of innocent parties by finger pointers that have no evidence of wrong doing.

People are so angry right now at being flushed out of legit good companies at what have been ridiculously cheap valuations that I would suspect there will be much nashing of teeth and threats and bellicose words and belligerent chest thumping and running around with little or nothing accomplished as the last time Lord Jim attempted this exercise, I hope I'm wrong. And I certainly applaud anyone willing to invest their time and effort in trying to help this cause.

I applaud Sinclair for the efforts as I do Big Bill Murphy, Eric Sprott, Embry, Coxe, etc. and certainly don't blame them for why we are where we are as they have tried their best to let us know what they are doing and what they believe in to the best of their ability. It is for each of us to take that which we find of value and ignore that which doesn't fit our view or for which we want more evidence, etc. My point is we are all responsible for our own investing decisions be they good or bad. I stand by my choices in this regard concerning Golden Minerals and have the scars to show for it the last couple of years but they are mine and they were self inflcited.

My view hasn't changed on this company, a very large resource looking for a much larger production profile which is taking longer to execute than I would like or that anyone thought it would. I believe managements interests are aligned with it's shareholders but would like to see faster increase in our production profile and a little more clarity on 2013/14 objectives. I have a larger share position than ever before and intend to be around to profit from it substantially in the years ahead.
