All O.T. of course but I would like to see a referendum held on the plan currently being carried out to add 30 seats to the 308 existing in the Canadian parliament. Knowledgeable folks have determined that there is no proven advantage to the electorate to reducing the ratio of consituents to members but the bureaucracy carries on regardless. I have yet to see a study that tells me exactly what all of these people do for us other than voting as directed by party management. The extra 30 will cost a base $5 million or so plus plus. This, I believe, falls under your "have no say" heading.
